Arthur Pasquariello has retired from the practice of law and has turned over your original estate planning documents to Meier Law Firm, PLLC for safekeeping.

Our firm keeps all original documents in fireproof filing cabinets in our office located at 10 Utica Avenue, Latham, NY 12110.

If your documents are older, or your circumstances have changed (death of spouse, marriage of child, significant change in assets, etc.), you may wish to have our firm update your estate plan.
If you would prefer to use another attorney, please contact us at 518-313-7809 to arrange for a pickup of your documents.
Kindly advise if you’ve updated your documents with another attorney, and would like me to destroy those on file at our firm.

Please note that a bank may seal your safe deposit box upon your death. As such, if you keep an original Will in your safe deposit box, your nominated Executor must receive permission from the Surrogate Court Judge to access the box, which takes time and money. It’s better practice to keep your Will with your attorney or in a place where your proposed Executor can easily retrieve it.
